They got her out of bed and into a chair for an hour and a half today, which was good, but the downside is that her headache intensified with a vengeance and she has not been very comfortable since. Lots of pain medicine and sleep this afternoon and evening.
I counted 15 staples closing the incision which runs just in front of the scalp line from the top of her right ear to a point even with the start of her right eyebrow. Not quite as small of an incision as the surgeon described, or at least what I heard him describe.
Tomorrow morning they are going to implode the old Prudential Building a 1950’s era office building across the street from this hospital. I am going to try to get a good seat somewhere in the hospital, assuming I can even get here with the road closures.
